(Engr.Yakubu), started his early educational career saw him through the Army Children Primary School (1) Obinze Barrack-Owerri, Imo State, Government Army Secondary School Elele Port Harcourt, Rivers State where he wrote and got nine credits at the National Examination Council (NECO) in year 2000.He later got admission into the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State to study Chemical Engineering to obtain his Bachelor of Engineering, later proceed to Ahmadu Bello University Zaria to obtain PGDCE Petrol Chemical Engineering. Engr. Adamu Suleiman Yakubu is currently a Post Graduate Student in the University of Abuja.



Engineer Adamu Suleiman Yakubu started his working experience from 2007 to 2008 right from when he was a Student at the Federal University Of Technology Owerri under student work aid scheme and was posted to the department of University Development where he assisted the University to restructure the planning of the university communities market, He also work withArab Construction Company at Owerri- Elele-Port-Harcourt and Ahuda  Double way Expansion in the Safety section for two years as Safety Officer . He joined the Nigerian Bottling Company Owerri plant as a contract staff, after one year before proceeding for his NYSC Orientation camp at Borno State and relocated to FCT Abuja at the National University Commission.In 2015 INEC Supervisory Presiding Officer.Engr. Yakubu was once a class teacher in a private Primary and Secondary School here in Abuja, also work with so many private company on part time basis, he work with schematic blue energy Nigeria Limited in 2017 to 2018 and till date he is currently working with Elkaris Nigerian Ltd.


Engineer Adamu Suleiman Yakubu is a Corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers,(NSE), member of both Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers, Nigerian Institute of Power Engineers,(NIPE),Nigerian Institution of Procurement Engineers (NIPE), Nigerian Institution of Facilities Engineers and Nigerian Institution of Environmental Engineers. Member Nigerian Institution of Environmental Engineering, Member Nigerian Society of Intelligence.


Engr. Adamu Suleiman Yakubu is register with COREN, has certification course with Health Safety and Environment, certificate of Code of Conduct Bureau, certification of Fire Life and Safety, certificateof Food and Basic hygiene  and (HACCP), certification of human resource and strategy, certification with Human Reproductory Health System with WHO/USAID.


Engr. Adamu Suleiman Yakubu is a man with passion for the development of the engineering youth. Engr. Adamu served NSE at various levels; pioneer   Assistant General Secretary Bwari Branch. He is a two times member of NSE National Process Committee 2018/2019, co-opted member of Membership Committee in 2018. Member NSE committee of Engineering Personnel Data base in 2018, two timesCoordinator/Supervisor of NSE Corporate membership Examination at Zaria and Abeokuta/Ota examination Centre and currently Member of NSE Audit Committee.

I Engr. Adamu Suleiman Yakubu if elected as a member of the National Audit Committee I will ensure proper auditing of the Nigerian Society of Engineers to conform with the international best standard and practices without compromise. I will do my best to ensure that my personal interest did not affect my official assignment as National Audit Committee Member of the Society.


I promise if elected I will carry out research to develop a new template that will help minimize cost of running the National Secretariat of Nigerian Society of Engineers that which we are advising the society. I will ensure improvement by making sure money meant for staffer development are efficiently utilize without affecting the welfare of the personnel’s. I will as much as possible trace all unnecessary spending and mismanagement of the Society fund and report to the appropriate authority for further action.


I will ensure that Nigerian Society of Engineers financial spending cut across engineering welfare is above the current existing welfare template for the engineering welfare in Nigeria. This reform in financial spending will also attract a wide stakeholder’s workshop involving engineers and others experts in financial in the area of financial auditing and to give more room to capture rich empowerment packages for fellows, senior, young and unemployed engineers cut across all the branches in Nigeria and advice the society to always ensure that the surplus or income of the society is more than the expenditure.


If elected, I will make sure that the present financial template for engineers is improved upon by cutting unnecessary retreat abroad. I promise not to let you down if elected as an auditor in the society and today the current President of the Society adhere to our advice and cut down expenditure on foreign retreat.


I will not hesitate to report any mismanagement or corrupt practice in financial spending to the appropriate authority that has to do with financial crime in Nigerian.


As the National Coordinator Nigerian Engineering Youth for good governance an advocacy group of NSE that carried out awareness of NSE and COREN and orientation to the general public. I will continue to join the Engineering youth to carry Sensitization to the Government on the need why Engineers should be given their rightful placement in Ministries, departments and agencies, also for Engineers to be place on the same salary structure with Medical Doctor in terms of hazard and other risk allowance being that Engineers face more hazard than other professional bodies in Nigerian and safety capacity building for Engineering workshop I am currently on it under my capacity as the National Coordinator . With the executive Order 5 local Content Policy, I am currently facilitating another bill to the National Assembly and all State Assembly in the Federation to ensure that all projects in Federal agencies, State, Local Government that our Engineers our indigenous engineers can handle should be awarded to Nigerian Engineers, the bill will be an executive order for full implementation and compliance of the order 5 that all projects to be awarded to our Engineers.  I have carry out several press briefing telling the Government to give Engineers more attention and for Engineers to be appointed or be head of Engineering related MDA’s, and with the help of our grand patron Engr. T.S.G Wudil first NSE Vice-President (1) 2017, 2018, 2019 and Deputy President whom is our role model we will continue fighting for the course of Engineering relevant. Engineers Hazards allowance is currently our concern, we will ensure that the 9th National Assembly call for a stakeholder public hearing on the need why the Nigerians Engineers deserve to earn hazard allowance that which our grant patron of the Engineering Youths for Good Governance Engr. Wudil will be the one to present our motion to the National Assembly by January, 2021 when we must have concluded the white paper work. I also on behalf of the entire members of this Youth forum thank the President of the Society and COREN President they our Supreme Grand Patrons, I appreciate their concern and we Pray for fruitful completion of their tenure in office. I am also delighted to inform you that over 50 Engineers in this year 2020 benefited from Federal Government empowerment and Seven (7) were given direct appointment through the forum of Engineering Youth for good governance under my leadership.

I am counting on great Engineers of the Society to vote for me as I am assuring you I will accomplish the many task on my desk.
